The Cincy Royals were founded in May of 2008 by three, high school sophomores (Robby Brill, Burke Brown and Connor Carroll) who wanted to create an all-star team of local lacrosse athletes. In the first tournament as Cincy Royals, the boys defeated Canadian powerhouse, Edge Elite to win the top spot at Lax-N-Nati. The victory came with an invitation to compete in the Dick's Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions.
Fast forward to 2015, the Cincy Royals have grown to eight teams ranging from rising 5th graders to our High School Elite team. We play in the most prestigious tournaments of the summer, providing those players who are interested in pursuing lacrosse at the college level, a chance to be seen. To date, many Cincy Royals alumni have played or currently play for top Division 1, 2 and 3 college lacrosse programs.
What makes the Cincy Royals unique?
First, we are a non-for-profit (501c3) organization. Our only motivation is to provide the best summer lacrosse experience for your sons at the lowest possible cost.
Secondly, most of our coaches, who by measure of their experience and personal accomplishments are among the finest in Southwest Ohio. They are coaching, not only for the love of the game, but because they want to see your sons gain the skills and confidence they need to compete with the finest high school players in the country.
